Keith Olbermann, you are my hero

Filed under: Opinion - Jason @ 4:37 am

During last nights episode of Countdown, Olbermann ripped into Bill O’Reilly, more than he normally does.  O’Lielly had earned that ire, though.  You see, the dickhole had claimed twice on his show that American soldiers, during Battle of the Bulge (WWII), had executed unarmed SS soldiers that had surrendered to them at a place called Malmedy.  He was partially correct, there was a massacre at Malmedy that involved SS and American soldiers.  The problem was, he got it backwards.  It was the SS who did the murdering and the Americans who did the dying.  Why did Falafal say otherwise?  A simple mistake?  Nope.  He was trying to use it to justify the Haditha Massacre.  After he was called on his BS, he tried to backpedal and claim he was refering to a phantom massacre that took place after the real Malmedy Massacre.  After being called on his shit again, Fox News then charged to the rescue, purging the transcript of that episode from its website and throwing up their own bullshit, that he was refering to Normandy.

These remarks, as I stated above, had pissed off Olbermann.  Royally.  Watching his tearing apart of O’RLY’s lies, you could tell he was barely restraining himself.  He so wanted to go Godzilla on Loufa Lad.  I don’t blame him.  Bill O’Reilly pissed on the soldiers murdered at Malmedy and all servicemen and women who fought for the world’s freedom during World War II.  All I can really say is fuck you Bill O’Reilly and may you burn in the pits of your religion’s hell.

Anyways, Crooks and Liars has a video of the verbal thrashing.
