Students find real body at fake crime scene

Filed under: Humor - Jason @ 3:13 pm

Yahoo/AP.

Truth proved to be stranger than fiction for a high school criminology class investigating a fake crime scene after students discovered a real body on a field trip.

Teacher Sue Messenger has been planting fake skeletons with bullet holes and other evidence at mock crime scenes for more than 20 years to give her students a firsthand look at what crime scene investigators do.

There’s only reponse to this.

Well, who are you? (Who are you? Who, who, who, who?)
I really wanna know (Who are you? Who, who, who, who?)
Tell me, who are you? (Who are you? Who, who, who, who?)
‘Cause I really wanna know (Who are you? Who, who, who, who?)

Someone call Grissom. :D

Japanese soldier to become porn star

Filed under: Misc, Humor - Jason @ 12:51 am

Talk about a career change.

SDF girl drops the rifle for the pink pistol and joins the ranks of the adult industry

"Originally, I wanted to help people, and that’s why I joined the Self-Defense Force. But when I got there, I learned the job was tough, it literally stank, it was boring and the pay sucked. I enjoyed the car maintenance and classes on disassembling artillery, but the pay was only about 3 million yen a year. The most enjoyable part of living on base was the food and the sex. Perhaps it was those two things that inspired me to drop out of the force and move into the world of adult video," Airi Tojo tells Spa!

Why am I posting this?  Because a possibly hot Japanese female is going to do porn!  I’m a guy, what did you expect!? :P

Hungarian workers find a not so pleasant surprise in the bottom of rum barrel

Filed under: Humor - Jason @ 12:39 am

Oh snap, did they find Captain Morgan?

Hungarian builders who drank their way to the bottom of a huge barrel of rum while renovating a house got a nasty surprise when a pickled corpse tumbled out of the empty barrel, a police magazine website reported.
Actually, it turned out to be the body of a man who was shipped home in the barrel from Jamaica by his wife, who apparently didn’t want to go through alot of paperwork. Yeah, that was twenty years ago.

US military releases Zarqawi “blooper” tape

Filed under: News, Humor - Jason @ 4:54 pm

Maybe it’ll be submitted on America’s Funniest Home Videos.

The U.S. military command Thursday released previously unseen images of a video purportedly posted by al-Qaida in Iraq’s leader, showing him decked out in American tennis shoes and unable to operate his machine gun.

To be accurate, his M249 Squad Automatic Weapon jams while he’s firing it and he either doesn’t realise it or doesn’t know how to fix it.  After trying to continue firing, until one of his henchmen walks on camera and pulls the bolt back, clearing the jam.  Then he resumes firing.  He’s also apparently wearing a new pair of black New Balance tennis shoes.  The hell did he get those?  I just don’t see this guy walking into a shoe store in downtown Baghdad and trying on shoes all day.

No wait, now I do.  Add in some bored goons standing guard outside the store and its a hilarious mental image, haha!

*Ahem*, anyways, other bloopers include some of his men grabbing the recently fired M60 by the barrel.  Yeah, grabbing a hot piece of metal.  Real smart.  Anyways, the above link to the MSNBC article has a link to the video.  I’m waiting for Youtube to get it. ;)

Stephen Colbert is my hero

Filed under: Humor - Jason @ 1:08 am

As you’ve undoubtedly have heard, Stephen Colbert’s routine at saturday’s White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner.  It was quite controversal, because he burned Bush badly.  Heres some quotes:

I stand by this man because he stands for things. Not only for things, he stands on things, like aircraft carriers, rubble and recently flooded city squares. And that sends a strong message that no matter what happens to America she will always rebound with the most powerfully staged photo ops in the world!

I believe the government that governs best is the government that governs least. And by these standards, we have set up a fabulous government in Iraq.

this administration is not sinking, this administration is soaring! If anything, they are rearranging the deck chairs on the Hidenberg!

Beautiful.  Simply beautiful.  He had the balls to rip Bush a new one, with the man in the same room.  As such, I am awarding Stephen Colbert The Age of (un)Reason’s Medal of Humongous Balls and the Medal of Valor.

Da Vinci judge’s code cracked

Filed under: News, Humor - Jason @ 5:14 pm

Brilliant.

The lawyer who spotted the secret code has managed to crack it.  So, what was this message that was hidden in the Judge’s court ruling?

"Jackie Fisher, who are you? Dreadnought"

Jackie Fisher was an admiral in the Royal Navy who came up with the idea of the dreadnought class of warship.  The dreadnought was this frickin’ huge class of ship back in the late 1890s, early 20th century.  Bigger and more heavily armored and armed than a battleship.  It was the kind of ship that you really didn’t want to mess with, if you were an opposing naval force.

Yes, I am history geek. ;)
